Up until August 2018, I worked as a full time teacher with special needs young people. My specialism is ICT & photography. Since then, I resigned from education to concentrate on running my own company. In my own time I am a freelance Videographer, Photographer and Digital Artist selling HD stock footage and images through various companies in the UK & New York.
I have 2 wonderful daughters who support me in everything I do. I have worked with young people with disabilities since 2002 which is a privilege.
Vision25 is a dream come true for me and I am very lucky to have a fantastic team working with me. The families of our young people are amazing and fully support me every day which makes Vision25 very much a family orientated place. Many professionals who have visited us have commented on the happy, family feel to the environment which is wonderful to hear.
I loved my work as a volunteer at Vision25 and was delighted to be offered a full time position in September 2018. Although my subjects are English and History, I have really enjoyed introducing our young adults to my various hobbies including cooking, sewing, crafting and, more recently, candle making! I’m determined to keep expanding our enterprise efforts as our young adults continue to develop new skills and grow in confidence.
